Trip Overview

This guided cultural and eco-experience introduces Zanzibar’s seaweed economy through the women who sustain it. Walk out to the seaweed farms at low tide, learn how seaweed is planted and dried, and visit the Seaweed Center where local products such as soaps, creams, juices, and cakes are made. The tour runs privately by default, can be organized for groups on request, and supports women’s income and community development in Paje.
