This is a perfect safari combination to see chimpanzee up close in western Tanzania. Gombe Stream National Park is the famous place where Jane Goodall did her research on chimpanzee populations. It is located on the western border of Tanzania and the Congo, and it has 35 km² of protected land along the hills of the eastern shore of Lake Tanganyika. Mahale Mountains National Park is located close by, south of the city of Kigoma. It is the only place where chimpanzees and lions co-exist.
From $3,440
Nyerere National Park (previously called Selous Game Reserve) and Ruaha National Park are the largest national parks and certainly the highlights of Tanzania’s South. They are located a great distance apart from each other, and therefore it would take too long to drive by car from one park to the other. For that reason, we designed this safari combination with convenient and short inland flights. This safari route is often used as an extension of a safari to the northern parks.
From $2,800

Say hello to one of our bestsellers! If you want to see the three most beautiful parks in northern Tanzania, our 8-day safari is the perfect option. And the striking Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder with the world’s highest concentration of wildlife. These are two of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders you can witness on this amazing safari.
From $1,771
The Marangu route is a popular route and also the cheapest . It is the only route that offers mountain huts instead of tents for the overnight stays. The route leads straight up to the summit and down again via the same route. Altitude changes per day are significant, which is why this route is only suitable for experienced climbers.
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport for your climb
From $2,288
Imagine thousands of wildebeests and zebras together in a herd, all moaning and braying in their distinctive sounds, kicking up dust and protecting each other from the surrounding predators. Impressive as this may be (and trust us – it is!), if you add a river to that equation, it becomes truly a unique spectacle! This is the yearly Mara River crossing of the Great Wildebeest Migration in northern Serengeti, which only occurs from late July to early October.
From $3,027
This is a perfect safari combination to explore three of the southern national parks in Tanzania.

From $2,121
The Rongai Route is particularly popular among experienced climbers. It is the only route to the summit of Kilimanjaro that begins on the northern part, near the Kenyan border. It’s windier and drier on the northern side of the mountain. Therefore, it has less vegetation here, and you can often see far – overlooking the beautiful Kenyan landscape.
From $2,094
The Machame route was voted as the most beautiful climbing route in the world! This is due to the stunning views of Mount Meru, the impressive ascent along the Barranco wall and other highlights you see. The route also has well-maintained hiking trails. You can also see more of Kilimanjaro, because the Machame route takes a different route to the summit than for the descent.
From $2,570
What’s better than climbing Kilimanjaro? Climbing it via the Machame route , the officially most beautiful climbing route in the world! Prepare for stunning views of Mount Meru, an impressive ascent along the Barranco wall, well-maintained hiking trails and diverse nature since you take a different route for the descent – two for one, so to speak 😉
From $2,207
Umbwe route is the shortest of all routes in terms of the distance you travel to the top of Kilimanjaro . Therefore, the increase in altitude per day is very high. You hike steep through the valley and directly up to the summit. Because this route is so extreme and demands a lot from your body, it is also known as the “Double Whiskey Route”. The Umbwe route is only suitable for climbers who have already been at a comparable altitude and know how their body reacts to such an extreme increase in altitude.
From $2,615
The Lemosho route is the route with the highest success rate. In addition, this route offers a wonderful panoramic view of the beautiful landscape of West Kilimanjaro. In the second stage of this route, it joins the Machame route. On the way you will pass beautiful landscapes and landmarks such as the famous Barranco wall.
From $2,826
The Lemosho route is one of the most beautiful and unique routes to the summit. It starts on the western side of the mountain, is less crowded for a more secluded hiking experience, and famous for its breathtaking views throughout.
The Lemosho-Shira route starts on the Western Site of the Kilimanjaro. It is almost the same as the Lemosho route. But on the first day you ascent to the 2nd camp of the Lemosho route. Only after that the two routes correspond.
The Northern Circuit route is the newest route to climb Kilimanjaro. The route is unique as you hike via the quiet, still rather unknown northern side of the mountain. You will see Mount Kilimanjaro from a whole new perspective!
